Life Rights: Life rights is the right to occupy a unit for one’s life time (or spouse’s life time where applicable). Marian Villa’s 10-year Life Rights Endowment Donation is calculated on the basis that should you relocate within the first ten years a percentage of the initial sum will be paid back to you, e.g. 50% after five years. However, should you move after ten years, you are not eligible for any refund. You can, however, continue to occupy the cottage by paying only the monthly levy for the rest of your life.
Currently levies range from R1 563 to R2 012 depending on the size of the cottage.
