The maintenance and running costs of homes such as Marian Villa Retirement Village are always on the increase. It is a constant challenge to keep the accommodation affordable for seniors while retaining a warm, comfortable and enjoyable home and ensuring its ongoing sustainability. With the State’s contribution reducing significantly, we rely increasingly on the generosity of corporate, businesses and individuals to cover our costs.

The Endowment Donation paid by each resident moving into our independent living cottages is paid into the non-profit trust to contribute to the care of the seniors living at Marian Villa Retirement Village and so contributes to its sustainability. Only seniors living at Marian Villa benefit from the Endowment Donation.

Our Annual Fete is a key fundraising activity and everyone is involved including the management team, the residents as well as our caterers.

We are also always grateful for any additional support in whatever form, e.g. bequests, donations to specific projects or any Gifts in Kind, Each contribution improves the quality of life for someone.  But let your imagination be your guide. We will be truly grateful for any donations. If you would like, we will supply a Section 18A receipt whereby your donations are deductible for tax purposes.
